Urban Terror I was at my brother's house the other day and I decided to download Urban Terror, since I was very bored from drawing pictures and playing gothic all day. Weeeell, I wait about 6 hours for the 150mb download to get done, read the readme file, and realize that they put the wrong readme file in with the full download, so... HOW THE FUDGE DOES THIS THING WORK!? It tells me to EXTRACT the files into a folder for quake but the files cant be extracted because It doesn't tell me which one goes where, then I went to the FAQ and trouble shooting page but, naturally, nothing there applies for my situation. Somebody help! It came with 7 game files: pak0.pk3 pak1.pk3 pak2.pk3 pak3.pk3 pak4.pk3 server.cfg q3ut2.ico All the installation text says is: Extract pak4.pk3 into quake3/q3ut2 folder Note: This is the reame file for the 2.3 version upgrade If it hurts, it means you're still alive	Gorath Gun Expert/Howling Wind Agent Mercenary 2/17/2002 6:32:31 PM Level: 7 Experience: 2188 Total Posts: 263
RE: Urban Terror If you have Winzip, just extract the files into your Quake 3 folder, it should automatically make all the Urban Terror folders. RE: Urban Terror What do you mean "you didn't notice anything different"? Did it ask you if you wanted to replace files? I hope your pressed no if it did. If no dialogue box popped up, there's probably a "q3ut2" folder in your Quake III Arena folder. If there is, go into Quake 3, then click mods, select Urban Terror and press OK. RE: Urban Terror Right above the Exit button in Quake 3, there IS a Mods button. If there isn't, your version of Quake 3 is on crack. EDIT: You need the latest point release. Go to planetquake.com or something and look for the latest Quake 3 release. Anyway, just make a "q3ut2" (exactly like that, without the quotes) folder and extract all the files in there. RE: Urban Terror I think my version is on a lot of crack, there is no mods button above exit, just cinematics. EDIT: I tried that-IT CANT FIND THE LATEST PATCH FILES AT FILEPLANET!!!!
