I'm sure this game would be a lot better if I could beat the biolizard.... any strategies that any of you might be able to find anywhere?

It looks like a giant dragn, but with no wings.  It has tubes coming out of its mouth that hook into a life support system on his back.  You have to destroy the life support to beat him, but it's just TOO HARD!
