Guild Wars Josh (Real Ultimate Walrus) and I just got Guild Wars yesterday. For those who don't know, it's an MMORPG (for those behind the times, MMORPG = massively multiplayer online role-playing game) by a group of guys that worked on Diablo and Diablo 2. It has no monthly fee like 99% of MMORPGs, and it's really cool. I'm a level 4 Warrior named John Gibson. If any of y'all have it and you happen to catch me online (and, for some reason, have any interest in playing with me), just send me a whisper and tell me who you are. RE: Guild Wars I know my computer wouldn't run it. I would have so many games if it wasn't for that. Maybe it's a good thing... keeps me from spending all the money I don't have. By the time I get around to getting it, Clint and Josh will no longer be playing it... and so it'll be pointless for me to get it. RE: Guild Wars So, I ended up quitting the game after two or three months. Around Lion's Arch, the enemies become retarded. You have to have a full party beating on one monster for two minutes to kill it by that point. It's not fun anymore. The thing is, you can't go past level 20. At that point, you can't get stronger anymore, so you're stuck having your entire party beating on one monster for two minutes and there's nothing you can do about it. Josh and I are the only people in the world who are bothered by this, so I can never play another MMORPG because nobody points out whether you have to have a full party beating on a single monster for two minutes to kill it. Oh, and they claim it's not about level grinding and then everybody has a fair chance with everything. And I say "bull honkey." Guild Wars has turned me off from MMORPGs forever. Except free ones.
